SHIPPING

The wines are delivered by DPD parcel service (www.dpd.at) in boxes of 6, 12 or 18 bottles as standard. The minimum order quantity is 6 bottles. We kindly ask you to order full cartons (order must be divisible by 6). For larger quantities (over 48 bottles), we reserve the right to ship via freight forwarding. The shipping costs (postage & packing), as well as the prices of our wines, fruit juices and distillates are inclusive of VAT.

Free delivery within Austria and Germany from an order quantity of 6 bottles.

We also ship to Belgium, Denmark, France, Italy, Croatia, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech Republic & Hungary at a flat rate of €17.

For shipping to other countries please contact us directly via e-mail. We will try to find a solution for you as well.

PAYMENT

Billing is in Euro, all prices include VAT, and is possible via the following payment methods:

Credit card (MasterCard, Visa)

If payment is made by credit card, the charge will be made on the same day. The following data must be provided by the customer: Credit card company, card holder, card number, expiration date and security code. After this data is encrypted and transmitted to our payment partner Stripe (www.stripe.com), it cannot be viewed by unauthorized persons.

Prepayment by bank transfer to our bank account

In case of prepayment you will receive an order confirmation from us with our bank details and transfer the total amount of the order to our business account. The goods will be shipped only after receipt of the invoice amount from us.

Ried Brunndoppel

North of the municipality of Theyern, where our family winery is located, lies the small Ried Brunndoppel in a small side valley of the Theyernbach (river). At 400 m above sea level, it is one of the highest and also steepest locations in the Traisental wine-growing region and belongs to the wine-growing community of Nußdorf ob der Traisen. Facing south, the vineyards stretch more or less in terraces over the slope, well protected by the nearby forest area that surrounds the vineyards to the west, north and east. Therefore, the temperatures cool down well at night and promote the formation of complex and fresh-looking aromas in the grapes.

The single vineyard is only managed by the Preiß family winery. Mainly Grüner Veltliner is grown here, the oldest vines were planted in the 1970s. In addition, vines of the varieties Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Zweigelt are grown. All wines from this distinctive location have a finely chiselled acidity, precise aromas and smooth elegance.

By the way: The name "Brunndoppeln" for this vineyard can be found in the Franciscan cadastre as early as 1821 and is very likely derived from earlier sources in the lower area of the vineyard, which have now been drained.
